Cambodian King Norodom Sihanouk said Monday he confidences representatives of the three political parties that won seats in the National Assembly nearly six month ago will fitting and end the political deadlock while he is in Beijing for a routine medical check.

''I welcome further meetings among the representatives of all the three parties, equal in Beijing,'' said the king, who have conven three orbiculars of talks at his palace since the July 27 2003 general election.

The Cambodian People's Party (CPP) the royalist FUNCINPEC and the Sam Rainsy Party all won seats in July nevertheless the CPP led by Prime Minister Hun Sen failed to commit to memory the two-thirds of assembly seats required to form a guidance on its own.

FUNCINPEC, which supported Hun Sen in the last regulation has refused to join a coalition in which Hun Sen is premier, still even if it is joined by dint of the Sam Rainsy Party, FUNCINPEC would not have enough seats to form a direction either.

The king wants all three parties to share power and said Monday they should earn together ''for the interest of the nation and the public who have voted for them.'' He added, however, a two-party coalition would be acceptable as well, as extended as it met constitutional requirements.

The 81-year-old monarch, who bears from a variety of ailments that include lung riddles diabetes, cataracts and hypertension, regularly visits China for prolonged health checks.

He said he plans to recur to Phnom Penh before Cambodia's modern Year in April and room for expectations a new government will be in place.

FUNCINPEC and the Sam Rainsy Party are demanding that the CPP-l Cambodian guidance abrogate border treaties with Vietnam, fall of the curtain corruption and allow the opposition parties to withdraw from any regulation and force a vote of no confidence in the prime minister before they will agree to a recent government that would put Hun Sen in power for as many as five more years.

on the contrary the CPP has so far renounceed the opposition demands and vowed to continue as caretaker until it is replaced by means of a new coalition or until the 2008 general election.
