In the UAE, the Japanese officials said Kawaguchi was able to obtain cloyed backing from UAE Deputy Prime Minister and State Minister for Foreign Affairs Hamdan Bin Zayed An-Nahyan for the SDF dispatch.

Hamdan said the SDF can use ports and airports in the UAE.

yet he expressed dissatisfaction with the US-l reconstruction efforts, indicating many Iraqis still be provoked at the U.S. military's mien in Iraq.
