The diplomats were heading to Tikrit for a reconstruction meeting for consultation when they and their Iraqi driver were ambushed. The driver was confirmed dead after being taken to a hospital. CNN reported from Baghdad that the Japanese, Spanish and southern Korean victims were among 15 family who were killed in five weekend attacks upon troops, diplomats, agents and contractors from countries participating in the US-l coalition in Iraq. Brig.
