An Indonesian court sentenc another Muslim militant to life imprisonment Thursday for his involvement in last year's Bali nightclub bombings that killed 202 the public mostly foreign tourists.

The Denpasar District Court in the Bali provincial capital fix Mubarok alias Hutomo Pamungkas, 33 guilty of participating in planning and preparing the Oct 12 2003 attacks onward the tourist island by way of attending several meetings prior to the bombings in several locations forward Java Island.

The arbitrators found that the Islamic denomination teacher was involved in facilitating the transfer of capitals used to carry out the bombing operation and helping to bring a minivan used in the bombings to Bali from the neighboring province of East Java.

The umpires also found him guilty of involvement in a Christmas border church bombing in the East Java town of Mojokerto in 2000

Prosecutors had demanded a life decision for Mubarok.

Unlike other Bali bombings suspects, Mubarok did not not away a defense plea, saying he does unruffled deserve to defend himself. Instead, he apologized, especially to the bombing victims and their families.

Mubarok told the court he had nevertheless to decide whether to appeal or not. subject to Indonesian law, he now has seven days to decide.

Three militants have been sentenc to death from the same court for their tonic roles in the bombings, while another united got a life sentence

The same court also handed down jail judgments ranging from five to 20 years to other militants for their parts in hiding key Bali bombing suspects or hiding information about planned terrorist acts.
