North Korea forward Saturday criticized Japan for breaking a promise to depute five Japanese abductees back to Pyongyang after their answer to their homeland last October.

The North's official Korean Central just discovereds Agency (KCNA) took issue with latter remarks by Japanese Foreign Minister Yoriko Kawaguchi that Japan made no promise to North Korea to throw back the five Japanese nationals who were abducted through North Korean agents in 1978

''This is a far-fetched assertion quite contrary to the fact,'' the KCNA said in a commentary monitored in Beijing.

The five Japanese nationals have been in Japan since they replyed to their homeland last October for what was initially suppos to be a two-week visit.

North Korea has at the same time to allow their children and the husband of single of the five to result to Japan.

The KCNA said North Korea made a decision to allow the five Japanese to reply home temporarily from a humanitarian point of view level in the absence of diplomatic relations between Japan and the communist state.

It said Japan made a promise to lance back the abductees to North Korea after their 10-day stay in Japan in like manner that they might have an opportunity to reunite with their families in Pyongyang and decide onward their future.

It is North Korea's stand ''to project them back to Japan without delay if all of them wish to fare to Japan after discussing the matter with their families here,'' the KCNA commentary said.

''This being a hard fact, Japan forced them to stay there permanently, thus breaking its promise made to the DPRK (North Korea). It is now demanding the DPRK fling their families to Japan unconditionally. What a nasty attitude!'' it said.

''Such perfidy is a production of the crafty and impudent nature of Japanese politicians as they have neither political cre nor any perception of obligation and a political custom peculiar to Japan,'' the commentary said.

North Korea says eight other Japanese abducted to the North in the late 1970 and early 1980 have died there. Families and supporters of the adduction victims decline the claim and have been urging the conduct to also pressure Pyongyang for their return

It is believed North Korea used about of the abductees to train spies in Japanese tillage and language.
