UN special minister Razali Ismail met with detained opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi after holding talks with Prime Minister Khin Nyunt upon Wednesday.

Razali held talks with Gen Khin Nyunt for about single hour from 4 pm at the Defense Ministry and he was later seen being driven into the compose of Suu Kyi's residence. Details of the pair meetings are not known.

Razali arrived here Tuesday upon his 11th visit to help unravel the long-standing deadlock between the junta and Suu Kyi.
