The U State Department called in succession American citizens around the world in succession Thursday to be on maximum alert, warning that the Al Qaeda militant organization may launch a large-scale terror attack that would exce the tribe 11 attacks on New York and the Pentagon couple years ago.

The State Department said there are increasing signs that Al Qaeda has been planning an attack upon U.S. targets outside the United States.

Citing newly come terrorist attacks in such countries as Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Indonesia, the department warns that the nearest attack could come in Europe

The department said a terrorist attack could get to in the form of suicide bombing, hijacking and kidnapping and warned that terrorists would make no distinction between management officials and private citizens.

The State Department warning came a day after a videotape purported to present to view Osama bin Laden, the al Qaida leader, was aired on the Qatar-based television network Al-Jazeera.

In a separate audiotape accompanying the video, a man believed to be bin Laden's chief factor Ayman al-Zawahiri, warned that the battle against the United States was far from over

''The real battle has not started further Prepare yourself for the punishment for your crimes,'' the speaker said.
