Amrozi Nur Hasyim, a 41-year-old mechanic and Muslim radical, was given the death penalty from an Indonesian court Thursday for the planning and carrying abroad of bombings on the resort island last Oct 12 which killed 202 family including 88 Australians. Those who misspent loved ones in the bombings felt an emotional release after the verdict, Howard said, regardless of whether they believe in the death penalty. ''They throw back the division in our community onward that matter and they are behaving in an understandable, normal Australian way,'' he told Melbourne radio station 3AW. Australians are not consum by the agency of revenge, Howard said. ''The Australian public has reacted to this tragedy in a exceedingly heartfelt, mature way. Australians know that our lives have been changed forever by means of the coming of the age of terrorism.'' Although Howard said he does not support capital punishment in Australia, the Australian management will not be making representations to the Indonesian guidance to commute Amrozi's death sentence ''Amrozi is not an Australian citizen. He's an Indonesian. It's the judicial proces of that country'' Howard said. Amrozi is not being given martyrdom in being sentenc to death, he said. The Australian, a Sydney newspaper, published a photograph onward its front page Friday of about victims of the bombings and their families toasting the decision to consummate Amrozi with champagne. Angela Dark of Melbourne, whose brother Anthony Cachia was killed in the bombings, said she wants to be in Bali when Amrozi is executed ''He shouldn't be allowed to breathe, he killed my brother, he killed half my life,'' she told the newspaper. Alan Lindsey from Perth whose 19-year-old son Aaron was badly injured in the blast, said of Amrozi receiving the death condemnation ''It is what everyone I have oral to was hoping for. He is not a martyr, he is a murderer'' However, Monica Sanderson from of recent origin South Wales state told the Australian newspaper that although she not to be found her son Greg in the blast, she regrett the death penalty. ''I think there have been too many deaths already. Nothing's going to bring our kids back,'' she said. Brian Deegan, an Adelaide magistrate whose 22-year-old son Josh died in the bombings, said the death penalty is not justice. ''It's just a state-sanctioned massacre isn't it?
