Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing will make a three-day visit to toward the south Korea from Aug. 13 for talks with southern Korean Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Yoon Young Kwan to discuss resolution of North Korea's nuclear vexed questions Yoon's ministry said Tuesday.

Li is also to tour major cultural sites and industrial facilities during his stay in southern Korea.

In a major change of stance, North Korea said last week it would attend six-country talks with China, Japan, southward Korea, Russia and the United States.

North Korea had demanded bilateral talks with the U to discuss the nuclear enigma but it eased its stance forward the format of talks.

North Korea's official Korea Central recently made knowns Agency quoted a North Korean Foreign Ministry spokesman Monday as saying the six-country talks will be held in Beijing soon

In the earlier three-way talks, North Korea reportedly told U diplomats the fatherland has nuclear weapons.
