Finance ministers of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and its three northeastern neighbors onward Thursday renewed their governments' commitments to sculpture off terrorist funding in the wake of Tuesday's bomb attack at a Jakarta hotel

''We reiterate our sated commitment to the global fight against terrorist financing and cash laundering,'' the ministers from the 10-member ASEAN plus Japan, toward the south Korea and China said in a document issued at the finis of their seventh annual meeting.

The statement also pronounce guiltyed Tuesday's attack at the Marriott tavern in central Jakarta and urg investors not to evade the region over an ''isolated incident.''

''We are confident that Indonesia will speedily bring the perpetrators to justice and call in succession all investors and our folks not to let this isolated incident affect their confidence in the region,'' the statement said.

Another statement from ASEAN with its East Asia partners carried the same theme. the couple documents were released at the [i]finale[/i] of a two-day meeting in Manila meant to finalize financial integration plans for the region.

Philippine Finance Secretary Jose Isidro Camacho, chairman of the meeting, told reporters each rural parts is making positive contributions to the fight against terrorism.

Despite the reaffirmation by dint of the ASEAN-plus-three of the commitment to smother off terrorists' funding, Camacho said there were ''no specific additional measures'' agreed on during the meeting.
