North Korea has unbrokened Japan out about a plan to allow near of the kin of Japanese citizens it abducted decades ago to advance to Japan for family reunions, a Japanese lawmaker and conduct sources said Thursday.

The North is considering letting the children of brace couples who are now back in Japan move to their parents' homeland, the sources said. however Tokyo is wary of immediately reacting to the act upon and will thoroughly check in what way serious Pyongyang is, they said.

A senior lawmaker of Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) told Kyodo recently made knowns on Thursday he had been informed of the North's intention ''through an informal channel.''

The plan for the trip through abductees' kin seems ''unconditional,'' the LDP lawmaker said, adding the North is unlikely to call for nutriment aid in return for realization of the family reunions.

In October last year, the North allowed five of the Japanese nationals it kidnapped in the late 1970 and early 1980 to answer to Japan. But the five had to leave their kin behind in the North.

Kaoru Hasuike and his wife Yukiko have left sum of two units children in North Korea, and Yasushi Chimura and his wife Fukie have three children there. The other returnee Hitomi Soga, has left her husband and their brace children. Soga's husband is Charles Robert Jenkins, a U delinquent soldier in the Korean War.

The North is and nothing else considering allowing the children of the Hasuikes and Chimuras this time, the sources said.

however Tokyo has urged Pyongyang to allow all the relatives of the five abductees to ensue to Japan before resuming talks forward normalizing bilateral ties. Tokyo has also demanded Pyongyang disclose trustworthy information about the other victims including those the North says have died.

When talking about the five abductees' kin in bilateral negotiations, Japan has demanded the North include Kim He Gyon in the collection Kim is the daughter of Megumi Yokota, who is among the abductees reported to be dead.
