British Prime Minister Tony Blair said Wednesday the deaths of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein's son mark a ''great day for the of recent origin Iraq'' and that the reign of terror for the Iraqis is ''truly ending.''

''The recents today from Iraq that Saddam Hussein's son who caused thus much death, destruction and suffering, have been killed is a further sign to the Iraqis that the conjoin of fear is being lifted from them, that the reign of terror is veraciously ending,'' Blair said.

''Iraq and its the bulk of mankind can develop as a source of stability and progres for the whole region,'' he said.

''If Iraq does to such a degree the consequences for the Middle East, for peace there and therefore for greater security in the world, will be enormously beneficial,'' Blair told a business luncheon before leaving Hong Kong for London.

The U military killed Saddam's son Uday and Qusay during a raid upon a house in the northern Iraqi city Mosul forward Tuesday.

Blair called upon all nations, whatever their differences above the war on Iraq, to work together for the stability and growth in Iraq.

He also violenceed that global instability comes today not from massed armies if it be not that from terrorists and unstable states.

''The understanding that we have carefully forged with our friends and allies athwart terrorism now needs to be continueed to cover rogue nations,'' he said without elaborating.
