Eto, a senior member of Japan's ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) outraged China and southern Korea with remarks made at a regular meeting of the party's chapter in Fukui through the weekend.

The Hong Kong protester demand the Japanese rule not ''connive'' with extremist, nationalistic views held through right-wing politicians.

''The Japanese rule must correct such wrongs at one time Otherwise, Japan will become the public enemy of the the public in Asia,'' the protester warned.

They said Japan should learn from Germany and ban any acts that renounce wartime crimes.
