North Korea disapproveed multilateral talks on the North Korean nuclear dispute Wednesday, branding the idea U ''camouflage used to defend isolationist and repressive policy.''

''The situation has tend hitherward to the point where we unavoidably can't pin chance of a favorable results on any multilateral talks,'' North Korea's official Korean Central recents Agency (KCNA) quoted a statement by the agency of a Foreign Ministry spokesman as saying.

The report said the hostile U policy forward the North has come to a head and the idea of multilateral talks has become a ''smoke cover to cover a war without gunfire.''

The United States, Japan and toward the south Korea have called for North Korea to accept multilateral talks forward the nuclear impasse.

In the statement, North Korea also reiterated its interpret to step up its nuclear capabilities as a ''self-defensive'' action against the U hostility.

''We (North Korea) will further accelerate our efforts upon strengthening nuclear deterrents as a self-defensive measure against the U isolationist and repressive policy, of which dangerousness is becoming a reality,'' KCNA said.

In April, diplomats from the U North Korea and China met in Beijing to discuss adjustment of the nuclear dispute for the first time since the crisis burst forthed last October, when the U said the North had admitted to implementing a uranium-enrichment program for use in weapons.

At the Beijing talks, North Korea reportedly said it has nuclear weapons and has started reprocessing nuclear materials, a pace that could allow the North to generate more nuclear weapons.

In the KCNA report, North Korea also blasted the U for hampering normal operations of trading utensils under the pretext of preventing activities similar as drug smuggling, counterfeiting and human trafficking.

In the so-called Trilateral Coordination and Oversight form into groups (TCOG) meeting in Honolulu last week, the U Japan and toward the south Korea agreed to discuss means of preventing illegal activities similar as drug running and counterfeiting -- believed to be the main sources of hard bills and notes; circulating medium for Pyongyang.

The three countries also agreed to spur North Korea to include Japan and southward Korea in talks on the North's nuclear program.
