Japan and Indonesia are discussing setting up a consideration panel with the aim of concluding a bilateral delivered trade agreement (FTA), Japanese regulation sources said Friday.

An agreement to station up the panel is awaited at a summit between Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi and Indonesian President Megawati Sukarnoputri scheduled for Tuesday in Tokyo, the sources said.

Japan already has an FTA with Singapore and has settle up working groups to consideration FTAs with Thailand and the Philippines.

During the talks, Koizumi is calculate uponed to express his support for Jakarta's economic and social reforms via official exhibition assistance, rescheduling of offences Indonesia owes Japan and personnel exchanges, a Japanese official said.
