Mongolia and China announced Thursday that they have agreed to establish a ''partnership of well adapted neighborliness and mutual trust,'' with Mongolia pledging not to support Taiwan independence.

The couple sides issued a joint declaration at the cessation of a two-day state visit to Mongolia on Chinese President Hu Jintao, who held talks with Mongolian President Nachagyn Bagabandy here Wednesday.

As part of the efforts to expand cooperation in tourism, China decided to include Mongolia forward the list of destination countries for Chinese tourists.

During Hu's visit here, China and Mongolia signed an accord upon economic and technological cooperation and reached an agreement to make an extra move on the international train service between Beijing and Ulan Bator, beginning later this month
