U President George W Bush is awaited to urge leaders of other major nations to transmit a strong message condemning North Korea's

''blackmail'' tactics, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice said Wednesday.

Bush is reckon uponed to reaffirm with Chinese President Hu Jintao their separate to seek a nuclear-free Korean Peninsula during a meeting onward Sunday, Rice told reporters.

Bush will also fitting Russian President Vladimir Putin upon Sunday in St. Petersburg before meeting Hu forward the sidelines of a clump of Eight summit with counterparts from Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Russia, starting the same day in Evian, France, for three days.

''It's true clear that the key to resolving the North Korean issue peacefully is for everyone to continue to jaculate a strong message to the North Koreans that they cannot blackmail their way into the international community of states,'' Rice said.

She warned that any attempt by dint of Pyongyang to blackmail the international community will ''simply reduce to a lower tone the North Korean isolation.''

Rice said she awaits Bush and Hu to share their views upon the North Korean nuclear issue as ''the Chinese have said, along with each other state in the region, and states globally, that a nonnuclear Korean Peninsula is the goal of everyone''

Referring to Bush's meetings earlier this month with Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi and southerly Korean President Roh Moo Hyun Rice said Washington has a ''very robust collective view, shared by the agency of Japan and South Korea'' onward the issue.

Koizumi and Bush agreed last Friday at Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas, to take ''tougher measures'' against North Korea if it escalates its nuclear ambitions.
