Thai military personnel participating in a intermission monitoring mission in Indonesia's troubl Aceh Province will revert home next week ahead of schedule, military officials said Friday.

The withdrawal of the crowds will be made at the beg of Indonesia, Chief of Joint Staff Forces Gen Suraphol Chinajit said.

Indonesia ''wants to abolish the peace proces and take up arms again. As we have learned that marines have penetrated, we have to contest out our troops for safety reasons,'' he said.

The general said the Indonesian restraint wanted troops from Thailand and the Philippines to leave Aceh since the Geneva-based Henri Dunant Center (HDC) which has agented the peace process, was unable to command the current situation in which the two the Indonesian government and the rebel released Aceh Movement (GAM) have not adhered to the armistice solutions.

Defense Minister Thammarak Isaranggura told reporters that the bodys have been in Aceh merely as part of the respite mission to restore peace further the mission is incomplete since there has been no agreement between Jakarta and the rebels.

All 46 Thai personnel will leave Bandar Aceh for Jakarta in succession Sunday and then depart for Thailand upon Tuesday, the minister said.

They were to finished their missions in two batches, undivided in June and another in August.

Thailand has displayed 27 military officers, including Maj. Gen Thanongsak Tuwinan who leads the five-member HDC mission that joins teams from the Indonesian restraint and GAM in the Joint Security Committee, since mid-December.

Another 19 throngs were sent to Aceh forward Feb. 26 for a six-month mission.

The tripartite monitoring mission was scheduled to stay there until elections slated to be held in June nearest year.

Under the ''Cessation of Hostilities Framework Agreement'' signed Dec 9 in Geneva according to the Indonesian government and GAM, the Joint Security Committee was established to monitor security and undertake sated investigations of security violations in the northernmost Indonesian province.
