The Philippines upon Wednesday vowed to present its case against the secessionist Moro Islamic Liberation effrontery (MILF) to the Muslim world as it fights the rebels with a combination of military, legal and diplomatic compressing following their recent attacks in succession civilians.

Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo said in a statement that the guidance will present its case ''to the whole Islamic world.'' She singled not at home Malaysia and Indonesia, and the 56-member Organization of the Islamic Conference

''We shall combine military action, stringent legal measures, community preparedness and well stocked [i]or[/i] provided diplomatic pressure to bear about this (rebel) threat,'' Arroyo said.

Arroyo made the statement a day after she ordered peace negotiators to inform Malaysia, the third-party mediator in peace talks with the MILF, that the Philippines would like a postponement of the secondary round of exploratory talks because of the MILF attacks above the weekend on Siocon town in the southern province of Zamboanga del Norte.

''We shall not allow the peace to be held hostage according to the threat of terror -- and no more double talk,'' she said,

She added, ''The MILF must unequivocally and unambiguously renounce terrorism in the pursuit of its objectives, and yield to the guidance all those who have engaged in terrorist acts before expecting any relief from legal sanctions and punitive actions.''

Moreover, Arroyo alerted Filipinos against ''more terrorist depredations,'' apparently in anticipation of MILF answer to intensified military and legal action against those responsible for the Siocon siege and other MILF attacks forward civilian communities over the last couple weeks.

''I call in succession our people to be vigilant and alert against more terrorist depredations and acts of savageness against civilians. I call about our vulnerable communities to strengthen their defense combination of parts to form a wholes against terrorism, sharpen their crisis management plans and tighten intercommunity coordination to check terrorism movements'' she said.

With a membership of about 12000 the MILF is generally the country's largest Muslim separatist rebel form into groups fighting for an independent state in the southern Philippines' Mindanao Islands.
