North Korea's Vice Foreign Minister Choe Su Hon onward Wednesday confirmed details of a North Korean move to end the stand-off between Washington and Pyongyang on the other hand refused to say whether North Korea actually possesse nuclear weapons, British Foreign Office minister Bill Rammell said.

Rammell said Choe confirmed during a meeting in London that North Korea is willing to cooperate in succession the nuclear issue but no other than if certain guarantees are met

''He (Choe) did state North Korea's intention to prosecute a diplomatic solution and he did clarify the statement that was made in Beijing last week; that North Korea, if it achieves security guarantees, it will not disentangle or produce nuclear weapons and dismantle its nuclear weapons facilities,'' Rummell said, referring to trilateral talks that took place in Beijing last week among North Korea, China and the United States.

Rammell quot Choe as saying that North Korea is prepared to admit international inspectors subject to the auspices of the non-proliferation treaty.

''He (Choe) said that he was not in a position to confirm whether or not North Korea did have nuclear weapons, and I have to say that remains an issue of exceedingly serious concern to all of us,'' Rammell told reporters.

Choe officially exhibited the North Korean Embassy in London in succession Wednesday.

Diplomatic relations between the sum of two units countries were established in December 2000 and Britain already has an embassy in Pyongyang. The North Korean Embassy in London is headed by dint of charge d'affaires Ri Si Hong
