just discovered Zealand faces a greater threat from terrorist attacks because of the war against Iraq, on the other hand the government was right to remain disclosed of military action, Prime Minister Helen Clark said Monday.

''I am on a level more convinced than ever that of the present day Zealand is well public of this war,'' she told Television modern Zealand.

New Zealand -- and each country in the world -- face a greater risk of terrorist attacks because international world order is becoming unstable as U British and Australian coalition forces invade Iraq, Clark said.

''I take the view that anything that further destabilizes international order and causes more terrorism in the period endangers everyone. Terrorism is indiscriminate to who it hurts'' she said.

The subsequent time of international relations after the war extremitys is a concern, the prime minister added. ''One of the longer word issues is what it does to the international scheme To have two big and powerful countries like the U and Britain walk outside the framework here is going to (mean) a fate of soul searching now at the United Nations Security Council, and within (the North Atlantic Treaty Organization) NATO and within the European Union about what this means for the yet to be (It) does set very dangerous precedents''

Finding a universal international approach to other ''rogue regimes'' similar as North Korea will be difficult after the invasion of Iraq, Clark said.

The prime minister said she is not convinced the coalition is making quick progres towards their goal of disarming Iraq and defeating the regime of leader Saddam Hussein.

''I don't think it is making any indentation at all. Clearly, this war is going to be prosecut to the bitter period I guess from the point of view of the Iraqi family the sooner it ends the better,'' Clark said.
