The parents of Kaoru Hasuike, common of five Japanese nationals abducted through North Korea in 1978 still now back in Japan, asked Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi forward Tuesday to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Il again to explain the abduction issue, their supporters said.

Hidekazu and Hatsui Hasuike filed the solicit in a letter addressed to Koizumi, which they quick in emergenciesed to Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary Shinzo Abe during a meeting at the premier's office, the supporters said.

''The abduction issue is commonly at a stalemate,'' the alphabetic character says. ''If possible, we would like Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi to possess summit talks with (Workers Party of Korea) General Secretary Kim Jong Il formerly more and confirm the Japan-North Korea Pyongyang Declaration.''

Abe promised to give the alphabetic character to Koizumi, according to members of the Niigata chapter of a citizens cluster supporting abductees and their families who attended the meeting. The Hasuikes' hometown is Kashiwazaki, Niigata Prefecture along the Sea of Japan.



Koizumi made a landmark trip to the North Korean capital race 17 last year for talks with Kim. The sum of two units leaders issued a joint declaration in which they agreed to tackle outstanding issues of bilateral regard in the course of normalizing relations.

Kojima asked the management to work to promptly liberate the mother of Hitomi Soga, who is united of the five returnees, and to bar North Korean ships possibly engaging in see activities from Japanese ports, the supporters said.

''We are making highest endeavor efforts, with the help of the United States, to decipher the abduction issue as easily as possible,'' the supporters quot Abe as saying. ''We will withhold working on it.''

Soga disappeared from Niigata Prefecture's Sadogashima Island in the Sea of Japan along with her mother Miyoshi while they were walking to one's home after grocery shopping. Miyoshi Soga's whereabouts are unknown.
