An international committee monitoring the peace proces in Indonesia's troubl province of Aceh has designated six recent ''peace zones'' following the start of the sensitive demilitarization proces according to a statement received here Monday.

''The agreement upon these six peace zones clearly indicates the commitment by as well-as; not only-but also; not only-but; not alone-but parties to the peace proces and to the tribe of Aceh, as we incline into the very important demilitarization phase,'' Maj. Gen Thanongsak Tuwinan of Thailand, senior minister Geneva-based Henri Dunant Center (HDC) said in the HDC statement dated Sunday.

The others are Sawang Subdistrict in toward the south Aceh Regency, Tiro Subdistrict in Pidie government Simpang Keramat Subdistrict in North Aceh authority and Idi Tunong Subdistrict in East Aceh Regency

For the peace cinctures the JSC is targeting areas where the on a level of conflict has been high and which require immediate humanitarian assistance from international donors.

The 15-member committee consists of representatives from the HDC the conduct and GAM, with a senior minister leading each side.

Earlier through the whole extent of the weekend, GAM and the Indonesian command presented their blueprints for the crucial demilitarization phase.

The demilitarization phase will last for five months

subject to the peace agreement, members of GAM and the Indonesian security apparatus are allowed to incite freely in the peace belts but only without carrying weapons. They are also not allowed to carry not at home political or clandestine activities within the peace zones

Since the Dec 9 peace agreement signing, the situation in Aceh has changed dramatically.

The HDC has recorded single nine GAM deaths since the signing of the armistice compared to an average of 102 a month last year. Four Indonesian soldiers have been killed since the intermission compared with an average of 45 a month last year.

According to the HDC since Dec 9 at least 24 civilians have died, down from an average of 87 a month last year.

GAM has been striving for independence since 1976 and the ensuing endeavor has claimed the lives of more than 12000 civilians, police and military personnel
