The fifth orbed of peace talks between the Sri Lanka dominion and the Tamil Tiger rebels nearest month will be held in a European city rather than in Thailand suitable to the health condition of chief Tiger negotiator Anton Balasingham, a senior management official confirmed Wednesday.

''Although the nearest round of talks was proper in Nakhon Pathom near Bangkok, Balasingham's current state of health does not make it possible for him to take a prolonged flight out of London,'' a senior official said in succession condition of anonymity.

''A European venue is being arranged however I'm not free to disclose where that is,'' the official said.

Balasingham is a diabetic who has undergone a kidney transplant. He is the owner of a British passport and lives in London.

The official explained that it would not be possible to detain the talks in London to be paid to a British ban upon the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) imposed in 2001 The rebels are included in London's list of foreign terrorist organizations.

The official said that the February rotund of talks may be shortened from the usual four days.

The LTTE which has been fighting the Sri Lankan command since 1983 for an independent Tamil homeland in the north and east, signed a cease-fire agreement with the dominion last February.

The rebels and the management ended their fourth round of peace negotiations Jan. 9 in Nakon Pathom.

The nearest round of talks was scheduled to be held there forward Feb. 7 to 10 with following rounds held there on March 18 to 21 and in succession April 29 to May 2 Another spherical of peace talks is to be held in June in Tokyo back-to-back with an international donor conference
