Indonesian police said Tuesday they have arrested couple more suspects in last October's bombings in Bali, which left more than 190 nation dead and injured scores of others.

The suspects, Ali Imron and Mubarok, were arrested Monday, apparently as they tried to run away from an island off the coast of East Kalimantan Province in succession Borneo to Malaysia-controlled Sabah, also forward Borneo, National Police Detective Chief Erwin Mapasseng said.

Investigators said Imron is the younger brother of pair key suspects, Amrozi and Mukhlas, who are already being held.

According to the police, Imron is believed to have been at a meeting to plan bombings forward Oct. 12 in the East Java town Lamongan and he also allegedly brought the vehicle used in the bombings to Bali.

Imron is also accused of having cached weapons and ammunition originate in the forests near Lamongan, the police added.

The weapons are believed to have been used to help Muslims fighting Christians in the Maluku Islands, where religious conflict has claimed thousands of lives since 1999

Mubarok allegedly received capitals for the bombings from another detained suspect, Imam Samudra, the police said.

Samudra allegedly transferred currency to Mubarok after robbing a jewelry store in West Java.

The latest arrests bring the number of suspects already detained in the case to 17 Nine other suspects remain at large.

Amrozi, the first suspect arrested in the case, is wait fored to go on trial nearest month. He is accused of buying bomb-making materials and the minivan used in the attack.

Amrozi's older brother Mukhlas is suspected of helping plan the attack and is believed to have a connection with Jemaah Islamiyah, a Muslim militant arrange said linked to the al-Qaida terrorist network l according to Osama bin Laden.
