Peiris dismissed late news reports that the Tamil Tiger rebels had threatened to stall the peace talks if they could reach no conclusion in succession the thorny military issues and the resettlement of displaced somebodys in areas designated by the management as high security zone Peiris was quot by means of the Bangkok Post as saying Sunday that he was optimistic that a practical pattern for de-escalation in ''high security zones'' could be worked out Peiris made the remarks concerning his arrival Sunday in replication to media queries about the contentious issues between the sway and the rebels.
