North Korea hinted Saturday that it may fall of the curtain its self-imposed moratorium in succession missile testing and, if the hostile policies of the United States continue, exhibit nuclear arms.

''In the popular situation in which all agreements between the United States and North Korea have been nullified, the moratorium onward our missile test firing will be of no exception,'' North Korean Ambassador to China Choe Jin Su told a pres conversation in Beijing.

While emphasizing that North Korea generally has no plans to bring out nuclear weapons, the ambassador said if U threats of a nuclear attack against the North continue, ''we must posses devices to save us from a nuclear attack from the United States.''

''The United States is planning a preemptive nuclear strike against our abiding habitation If the U.S. continues with this stance, this issue may be complicated,'' he said.

In a joint declaration signed after the historic race 17 summit between Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi and North Korean leader Kim Jong Il, North Korea promised it would continue its moratorium upon missile tests beyond 2003.

Japan had urg North Korea to maintain the moratorium, which Kim appoint in a meeting with a European Union delegation in 2001

The ambassador's make comments [i]or[/i] remarkss came a day after the North declared its immediate withdrawal from the global Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and termination of its nuclear safeguard agreement with the International Atomic spiritedness Agency ''to protect the sovereignty of the region and the nation.''

The North Korean announcement readyed a wave of concern from leaders of the world and a belonging to all appeal that North Korea rescind the decision.
