Australia reopen its embassy in Manila in succession Thursday, more than a month after it clos to be ascribed to concerns over a possible terrorist attack.

Carlo Figueroa, Australian Embassy information officer, said all offices within the diplomatic mission have reopen exclude for the visa section, which is scheduled to reopen Monday.

Australia clos its chancery onward Nov. 28 as a precaution after receiving what it called ''credible and specific information of a threat'' to the mission.

The Canadian and European Union (EU) missions were also clos the same day owed to perceived threats. The EU mission, which shares the same building as that of Australia in the Makati financial district, reopen Dec 20 while the Canadian common reopened Monday.

The decision of Australia, Canada and the EU to conclude their embassies irked the Philippine restraint which had complained that the abrupt closure pain the already battered image of the home in the international community.

Manila has since welcomed the reopenings, saying they ''signal the world that the Philippines is a safe and sure destination for foreign investors and tourists.''

Australia announced onward Dec. 20 that it would reopen its embassy in Manila onward Jan. 2 following the normal Christmas and of the present day Year closure, saying the threat against the mission ''has now passed.''

It took the decision after receiving the Philippine government's assurances that it will implement additional security measures, including deploying more police guards around the embassy and tightening ascendencys on traffic in its immediate vicinity.

An Australian Embassy official, who declined to be named, said the embassy will relocate as early as nearest month or March to a ''more security-enhanced'' location in Makati.
