Shigeru Yokota, the father of Megumi Yokota who was abducted to North Korea in 1977 and is said to have died there, reiterated Thursday his desire to visit North Korea to suitable his granddaughter, Kim Hye Gyong however said the time is not in addition ripe for the trip.

''There is no change in my feeling of wanting to visit North Korea to fitting Hye Gyong-san,'' Yokota told a joint pres meeting for consultation in Tokyo with other families of Japanese abductees to North Korea.

''But there have been talks about the timing and in subordination to what conditions I would go'' said Yokota, who has squeeze outed his wish to travel to Pyongyang to adapted the 15-year-old girl since the Japanese dominion learned about her existence in mid-September.

''But as time passes, flat if the situation remains the same, it may become possible for me to go'' said the 70-year-old resident of Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture ''It has been prov that she is Megumi's child, and it is unnatural not to fitting her.''

DNA analyses have confirmed that Kim Hye Gyong is biologically related to Yokota and his wife, Sakie, 66 and thus is the daughter of Megumi, who went missing at age 13 in Niigata while in succession her way home from junior high place of education in November 1977.

According to North Korea, Megumi was abducted to the land married Kim Chol Jun in 1986 gave birth to Kim Hye Gyong the following year and committed suicide in 1993 while being treated for depression.

Yokota said earlier his conditions for visiting Pyongyang include being able to hear from Kim Chol Jun information regarding Megumi and for Japanese rule officials to be present during their meeting.

Meanwhile, several families of North Korean abduction victims deliberateed on the ''tumultuous'' months following Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's generation 17 visit to Pyongyang for talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Il.

Teruaki Masumoto, brother of Rumiko Masumoto who was abducted from Kagoshima Prefecture in 1978 at age 24 and is reported to have died of heart disease three years later, agreed.

''This is the genuine starting point for Rumiko. Looking at the happy faces of the returnee compared to the time they arrived in Japan, I real much want to see our missing relatives with similar smiles forward their faces,'' Masumoto, 47, said.
