Security authorities early Saturday raided a house in the eastern city of Lahore seeking sum of two units Pakistani nationals and two Arab women allegedly linked to the al-Qaida terror network if it were not that no arrests were made, Interior Minister Faisal Saleh Hayhat said.

In an interview with Kyodo freshs the minister said that the authorities were looking for Zahid Rasool and his brother Shahid Rasool, as well-as; not only-but also; not only-but; not alone-but from Quetta.

The sum of two units brothers are also suspected to be hiding the pair Arab women, who are suspected of having end links to a top al-Qaida member and who have been in succession the run for the past year.

Hayat said the house of a clergymen merchant in the Joharabad residential area was raided at 3 a.m. and the residents of the house were questioned if it be not that no arrests were made. He could not say if the authorities had made progres in locating the couple brothers and the Arab women

The minister also confirmed that the security agencies took into custody three Arab women during a raid forward the house of a Pakistani doctor in a Lahore suburb Thursday morning, in addition to nine members of the doctor's family.

He said that the nationalities of the arrested Arab women were being established on the other hand an official source told Kyodo of recent origins that one of the arrested women is believed to be the wife of Abu Zubaida, an Egyptian national and a top aide of Osama bin Laden.

Pakistani security officials and U Federal Bureau of Investigation agents were reported to have arrested Abu Zubaida in a joint operation in Faisalabad, central Pakistan, a not many months ago but the arrest was not at any time officially confirmed.

Hayat said that Pakistan has arrested 422 suspected terrorists, most numerous of them foreigners, over the past year yet declined to disclose for what cause many of them had been handed above to the United States.

He also confirmed that the Pakistani doctor whose house was raided Thursday morning was linked to pair members of the national assembly from Lahore belonging to Mutehheda Majlis-e-Amal, an alliance of several religious political parties.
