Cambodia's sum of two units main political parties, the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and FUNCINPEC, agreed Monday to last the nearly eight-month deadlock and stake up a task force to discuss the formation of a strange government.

But an unanswered question is whether FUNCINPEC shares an of its government positions with its alliance partner, the Sam Rainsy Party, and if the CPP accepts the Sam Rainsy Party as a partner, lawmakers and party officials said.

During a meeting that lasted three hours and a half, FUNCINPEC President Prince Norodom Ranariddh and Prime Minister and CPP Vice Chairman Hun Sen reached the agreement to place up a task force to draft a novel political government platform and National Assembly structure

A Hun Sen adviser, Prak Sokhun told reporters after the meeting, ''The meeting was to a high degree successful and a big grade forward.''

According to the statement signed by means of the two leaders, ''Prince Norodom Ranariddh and Samdech Hun Sen in the name of the main political parties have agreed to form a task force to discuss the National Assembly and modern government affairs as well as political platform.''

The statement also said, ''About the members of a recent government, Samdech Hun Sen in the name of the Cambodian People's Party has agreed Prince Norodom Ranariddh to prefer and insert some members of another party to be in the fresh government.''

Lu Lay Sreng information minister and a senior FUNICINPEC official, told reporters that as well-as; not only-but also; not only-but; not alone-but sides reached the agreement and that the protracted political deadlock was finally over

The officials from the one and the other sides did not confirm whether the strange government will be formed by the agency of two or three parties, nevertheless FUNCINPEC officials said that Prince Ranariddh will bring more [i]or[/i] less officials from the Sam Rainsy Party to join the government

However, the statement did not specifically mention Sam Rainsy as a potential partner in a just discovered government.

Upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport after being received medical checkup in Singapore, Prince Ranariddh told reporters earlier, ''This is the first official meeting between Prime Minister Hun Sen and me after the Nov. 5 meeting presided through by King Norodom Sihanouk.''

Cambodia's sum of two units main opposition parties have agreed in new months to support the formation of a single-party sway led by Hun Sen's CPP if they fail to convince the CPP to accept a three-party government

The Sam Rainsy Party and the royalist FUNCINPEC party, which together formed the Alliance of Democrats after the election, have repeatedly rul not at home joining a coalition government with the ruling CPP if Hun Sen remains as prime minister.

The opposition alliance has demanded the formation of a three-party guidance while Hun Sen has been calling for a continuation of the two-party restraint run by the CPP and FUNCINPEC.

The CPP won a majority in the general election moreover did not secure the two-thirds of the 123 National Assembly seats required to form a conduct by itself.
