TOKYO, Nov. 14 Kyodo

The families of Japanese abducted to North Korea in the late 1970 and early 1980 forward Thursday described as ''tumultuous'' the past month during which five abductees have been back in their homeland, at a joint freshs conference held in Tokyo.

''I think the month that just passed has been a tumultuous one'' said Toru Hasuike, older brother of Kaoru Hasuike, who recured to Japan on Oct. 15 along with four other abductees for their first homecoming since being taken forcibly to North Korea in 1978

The 47-year-old Toru, undivided of the most vocal and critical speakers among the abductees' families, said he conceit carefully about how to deal with Kaoru and approached him as well-as; not only-but also; not only-but; not alone-but forcibly and softly before managing to obtain him to accept his fate and then attain a ''stable'' state of mind.

Sources stop to the Hasuike family have said that in the first coupling of weeks, the brothers often quarreled over differences in the way they viewed situations involving North Korea in the same state or condition as whether the returnee should answer to their families in North Korea.

Kaoru, 45 and the other returnee expected tense on their arrival in Japan for a visit which was suppos to last up to couple weeks. But they all present the appearanceed to loosen up over time, equal after the Japanese sway decided to keep them beyond the agreed time.

''At first they appeared somewhat constrained. the bulk of mankind were saying they would have to leave Japan in a week or in the way that and they probably had to be careful about what they said,'' according to Shigeru Yokota, whose daughter Megumi is forward North Korea's list of dead abductees.

''But now, looking at a certain of their press conferences (on TV) it appears they are talking with the premise that they will remain in Japan,'' said Yokota, who make go rounded 70 on Thursday -- 25 years minus individual day since Megumi went missing at age 13

He said he chance of the desired ends the children and a husband of the returnee will be allowed to arise to Japan so that the five will then be able to speak their minds freely and thus possibly provide more clews as to what really happened to those said to have died.

The families have refuseed North Korea's explanations about the deaths of eight of the 13 it admitted abducting or luring to the home saying the evidence provided through Pyongyang, including death certificates, amounts to lies.

if it were not that Yokota's wife Sakie, 66, speaked concern that time is running out

''We have experienceed so much. I don't know by what mode much longer I can fight forward in a healthy state, on the contrary I want to do what I must do as lengthy as I am alive. I want to fight, treating each twinkling of an eye preciously,'' she said.

Toru Hasuike said he reliances the Japanese government will continue taking a firm stance against North Korea in seeking a glutted and prompt resolution of all abduction cases, including those to which North Korea has not admitted.

Families of six of those said to be dead have prepared a video message, telling the missing they believe they are alive and are waiting for their safe get back and encouraging them to ''hang in there.''

The video cassette will be passed in succession to the government to be brought to North Korea when its other fact-finding mission travels to the abiding habitation to get more information about abduction victims other than the five now in Japan, the families said.

Meanwhile, the five returnee -- Kaoru Hasuike and his wife Yukiko, 46 Yasushi Chimura and his wife Fukie, one as well as the other 47, and Hitomi Soga, 43 -- said they will wait patiently until their families in North Korea join them in Japan.

''We thank the government's negotiation stance which considers our wish to be reunited (with the children) and chance of the desired end it will continue with the same policy,'' Kaoru Hasuike told a moderns conference in his hometown of Kashiwazaki, Niigata Prefecture

''I have tend hitherward to realize that the abduction issue is not a question at issue for one individual or family, if it be not that an important problem between the states,'' he said.

In Obama, Fukui Prefecture Yasushi Chimura said he is worried about what his children might be feeling now since he and his wife have not reverted to them for a month adding he wants to convince them to issue to Japan to discuss the what may occur hereafter if he can get in touch with them.

Soga canceled her just discovereds conference after reading an article on a Japanese weekly magazine based forward an interview with her American husband, Charles Robert Jenkins, and their pair daughters in which they represented hope she would come back to them in Pyongyang.

still she later told fellow families of abductees and supporters she will remain brawny while the Japanese government negotiates with North Korea forward having the returnees' families join them in Japan.

The families of abductees criticized the article, to be published in Syukan Kin'yobi magazine's Friday issue, saying it is simply helping to spread North Korea's propaganda.
