North Korea onward Tuesday accused South Korean military forces of committed military provocations earlier in the day the two in the West Sea and areas of land cease to the Military Demarcation Line between the pair Koreas.

The official Korean Central recents Agency (KCA), monitored in Beijing, said toward the south Korean battleships twice on Tuesday afternoon ''illegally infiltrated reaching far down into territorial waters of the North...threatening its peaceful fishing boats.''

It said the first incident in the West Sea, otherwise known as the golden Sea, involved three South Korean warships, while the secondary one there involved 11.

''Such military provocation was publicly perpetrated in broad daylight against the backdrop of the dangerous situation where a military clash between the DPRK (Democratic People's Republic of Korea) and the United States may break gone out on the Korean Peninsula any jiffy due to the U.S. imperialists moves''

KCNA said that onward Tuesday morning, the South Korean side introduced armored cars and sum of two units self-propelled guns to areas shut up to the MDL in the eastern sector of the demilitarized zone

It said that onward Monday, South Korean forces introduced a tank and three armored cars in the same sector, while from Nov. 1-5 they staged tank and armored car maneuvers in an area along the MDL in the western sector of the DMZ and in the front-line area adjacent to it.

''These grave military provocations clearly assay that the South Korean military authorities are pushing the North-South relations to tensions and confrontation, entirely involved in the U.S. imperialists' anti-DPRK moves'' the report said.

The 146-kilometer-long MDL divides the Korean Peninsula and each side has a 2-km-wide demilitarized zone

An armistice agreement signed according to North Korea, China and the US-l UN Command when the Korean War closeed in 1953 prohibits heavy weapons entering the demilitarized zones

North and southerly Korean naval forces exchanged fire in the West Sea in succession June 29, leaving four southern Koreans dead, one missing, and 19 others were wounded
