Hitomi Soga, who was abducted to North Korea in 1978 and is publicly visiting Japan, asked two senior sway officials Wednesday to make efforts to bring her American husband and children in North Korea to Japan, united of the officials said.

Soga, 43 told agent Chief Cabinet Secretary Shinzo Abe and Cabinet Secretariat special adviser Kyoko Nakayama she wants to behold her husband and sum of two units daughters as soon as possible and asked them to make efforts for her family to be reunited in Japan, Abe said.

She also squeeze outed the desire to live in her hometown where she was born and raised. if it be not that she said that she has to deliberate with her husband and children in succession their feelings before she can decide whether or not the family will stir here permanently.

Abe told reporters after meeting Soga at her family residence in the town of Mano in succession Sadogashima Island, Niigata Prefecture, that he assured her the rule will consult with the local conducts to support her.

''I told her, 'You probably have a fate of worries, being apart from your husband and daughters. The management will consult with the prefecture and town to back you up''' Abe said after the meeting, which went onward for more than an hour.

Soga also asked the management to try to find disclosed what happened to her mother, Miyoshi, who remains missing after the couple were assaulted by several men while forward their way home from grocer's shop shopping.

''I am highly worried about her,'' Soga reportedly said of her mother, who was 46 at the time of her disappearance.

Asked about her experience working as an assistant foment at a Sado general hospital until her abduction at age 19 Soga said, ''Now, everyone has forgotten about it.''

Abe also talked to Soga about the Japanese government's efforts to impel the United States to make special considerations for the case of her husband, Charles Robert Jenkins, 62 a former U Army sergeant listed as a forsaker by Washington.

Jenkins, said to have go intoed North Korea in 1965 while stationed in the demilitarized band separating the two Koreas, could face arrest and a court-martial according to U.S. authorities if he originates to Japan. Soga and Jenkins have sum of two units daughters, aged 17 and 19

A Japanese guidance source described Soga's situation as ''the chiefly unstable'' among the five abductees now visiting Japan because of the uncertainty involving her husband.

Abe also briefed Soga upon last week's normalization talks between Japan and North Korea, held in Kuala Lumpur after a two-year suspension.
