Yasushi Chimura, undivided of the five Japanese abducted to North Korea in 1978 on the other hand now back in Japan, forward Thursday clearly stated his wish for the first time that he and his wife Fukie want to appropriate in Japan with their three children, who are still in the North.

Chimura told a freshs conference in Awara, Fukui Prefecture where the pair were visiting on a hot-spring trip, that they would like to have their children brought to Japan and to make the final decision regarding their permanent respond to Japan after they discuss the matter as a family.

The Chimuras, the pair 47, have a daughter and couple sons, all born in North Korea.

''I would like to confess my children about my mother who died this April after continuously waiting for our answer for as long as 24 years, and to take them to visit my mother's grave,'' Chimura said.

''I profoundly understand (our case) has become a political issue between Japan and North Korea, and while I am prepared for it to be continue lengthen in timeed I trust in the Japanese government's answer and will make my efforts toward an early resolution,'' Chimura said.

''When I think about (my family members who have) searched around and continued to wait for as in extent as 24 years, (I be impressed that) our wanting to view our children is a tiny matter,'' Fukie said.
