George W Bush has agreed to make his next to the first visit to China as U president in answer to an invitation by Chinese President Jiang Zemin during the leaders' summit last week, China's Foreign Ministry said Tuesday.

''President Jiang has invited President Bush to visit China again and President Bush has already accepted the invitation with pleasure,'' Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao told reporters at a regular novels briefing.

While not confirming if a date has been risk for Bush to follow up his February visit, Liu said that along with last week's agreement for U Vice President Dick Cheney to visit China in spring nearest year it ''has great importance in maintaining strategic dialogue between the couple nations.''

During summit talks at Bush's Texas ranch last Friday, the culmination of Jiang's four-day visit to the United States, the Chinese president urgencyed the importance of maintaining stable ties between China and the US

He also said China and the U should collaborate in coping with North Korea's admission that it has maintained a secluded nuclear weapons program.

During a trip to China in February, Bush agreed with Jiang in succession the importance of expanding bilateral dialogue in various fields, while also urging China to embrace democracy and completion religious persecution.
