Takeshi Terakoshi, a Japanese who went missing while fishing in the Sea of Japan in 1963 and has since lived in North Korea, was monitored around-the-clock during his visit to Japan from one of the members of a North Korean union delegation, a support-group member of the abduction issue said Wednesday.

The delegation member kept terminate watch on Terakoshi's activities and carefully examined to what degree he was being treated in the media during a stay of about a week in Japan, said the form into groups member supporting Japanese nationals abducted to North Korea in the late 1970 and early 1980 quoting Terakoshi's mother Tomoe.

The assemblage member said he talked with Terakoshi's mother by the agency of telephone.

The mother, who lives in the Ishikawa prefectural capital Kanazawa, said she was scared from the delegation member's remarks that another homecoming trip to Japan would be unlikely if she and her son did not behave well, according to the clump member.

Terakoshi, a vice chairman of a labor union in Pyongyang, made his first visit to Japan since he went missing in 1963 from Oct 3 to 12 as a member of a North Korean union delegation.

Terakoshi, who obtained North Korean citizenship during his 39 years in the native land has denied he was abducted to North Korea.

The assemblage member revealed the accounts related to Terakoshi's stay right after a recently made knowns conference was held for family members of Japanese who are reported to have died since being abducted to North Korea.

Speaking at a Tokyo inn the group member said the same sort of monitoring may also be placed upon five abductees who began a temporary homecoming Tuesday on North Korean authorities, including brace officials of North Korea's R Cros Society who accompanied the five from Pyongyang.
