A Yokohama man, missing since last Saturday's explosion at a Bali discotheque, has been confirmed dead, becoming the first confirmed Japanese fatality from the blast, the Japanese Consulate General in Surabaya said Friday.

According to the consulate general, the visible form [i]or[/i] frame of 34-year-old Kosuke Suzuki, a company employee was confirmed according to a multinational group of medical skilfuls at a local hospital using dental records, DNA testing and other information provided by the agency of his family.

The explosion killed more than 180 tribe and injured about 330, including 12 Japanese.
