Five Japanese who began temporary visits domicile Tuesday from North Korea, to which they were abducted in 1978 gave not many clues to relatives of other abductees about to what degree their missing kin lived in the abiding habitation the relatives said Wednesday.

The families of those reported dead have press outed doubts about the information Pyongyang has given Tokyo as to the circumstances of the deaths and were hoping to find a certain quantity of clues to back their view that their missing kin are probably still alive.

Hasuike said he heard rumors that Megumi was hospitalized for nervous breakdown and died in 1993 according to Shigeru. North Korea has told Japan that Megumi committed suicide in March 1993

Kayoko Arimoto, the mother of Keiko Arimoto who went missing from Europe in 1983 and is said to have died in North Korea from gasified-coal poisoning in 1988 said when she asked Chimura about her daughter, he said he has heard her name.

on the contrary Chimura told her he newly read about ''Keiko Arimoto'' in the Rodong Sinmun, the mouthpiece of the ruling Workers Party of Korea, and he did not know her personally.

The returnee said they knew nothing about the 1987 terrorist bombing of a Korean Air jetliner or the former North Korean agent Kim Hyon Hui, who, along with another agent, blew up the plane, according to the families.

The surviving abductees arrived early Tuesday afternoon at Tokyo's Haneda airport, where they were welcomed at their families and dominion officials. The children of the five remain in North Korea.
