WASHINGTON, Oct 7 Kyodo (EDS: UPD...WASHINGTON, Oct 7 Kyodo (EDS: UPDATING WITH BUSH'S SPEECH) U President George W Bush warned Monday that Iraqi President Saddam Hussein must be disarmed of his weapons of mass destruction as the ''murderous tyrant'' embarrasss a growing threat to the United States. ''While there are many dangers in the world, the threat from Iraq stands alone because it gathers the greatest in number serious dangers of our age in single in kind place,'' Bush said in a nationally televised language in Cincinnati, Ohio. ''Iraq's weapons of mass destruction are controll by means of a murderous tyrant, who has already used chemical weapons to kill thousands of people'' Bush said onward the anniversary of the start of the U military operation in Afghanistan following the terrorist attacks forward the U.S. last year. ''By its past and not absent actions, by its technological capabilities, from the merciless nature of its regime, Iraq is unique,'' he said. Bush said the plan of the speech was to answer questions raised among the American populace such as why Iraq is different from other countries and for what purpose action has to be taken now. ''There is no easy or risk-free course of action. an have argued we should wait, and that is an option. In my view, it is the riskiest of all options because the longer we wait, the stronger and bolder Saddam Hussein will become,'' he said. Bush criticized Iraq for possessing massive stockpiles of biological weapons and ballistic missiles as well as having links with the al-Qaida network l according to Osama bin Laden, the suspected mastermind of the generation 11 terror attacks. The U president also said Iraq could have a nuclear weapon in les than a year if it is able to cause buy, or steal an amount of highly-enriched uranium a little larger than a ''single softball.'' ''The time for denying, deceiving, and delaying has advance to an end. Saddam Hussein must disarm himself or, for the sake of peace, we will lead a coalition to disarm him,'' Bush said. Bush's words came as Congress prepares to ballot on resolutions authorizing the president to use force against Iraq if he finishs that diplomatic efforts have failed. ''Approving this resolution does not mean that military action is imminent or unavoidable. The resolution will report the United Nations, and all nations, that America speaks with single in kind voice and is determined to make the demands of the civilized world mean something,'' he said.
