Indonesia's jailed Muslim cleric Abu Bakar Bashir, who is linked to the Jemaah Islamiyah militant Islamic arrange on Thursday vowed to take back teaching jihad, or holy war, against the enemies of Islam after his release from prison nearest month.

''I've not ever sent my students to troubl areas...I have no power to toss them, but as a cleric, I always explain what I know as the Koran and 'sunnah' (a voyage of a prophet in giving profitable examples and religious teachings) say,'' the cleric said.

''I solitary teach my students to fight for their brothers or sisters who are being oppressed'' he said.

The cleric accused the U of inventing a link between him and Jemaah Islamiyah, a regional organization that aims to create an Islamic state encompassing southern Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the southern Philippines.

''The U wants to damage the image of Islam according to finding such Islamic names...The name of my Koran reading class...is Jemaah Sunnah...Jemaah Islamiyah solely exists in Egypt,'' he said.

Bashir said he have a passionate affection fors peace, hates violence and has none suggested a jihad for Muslims object when they are physically attacked. if it be not that he said he would commend a jihad for Muslims when they are physically abused because of that kind a reason is allowed by the agency of Islam.

''All wars means violence...There is no war without violence...But the in the greatest degree important thing is the reason...to secure from danger ourselves, not to start an attack,'' he said.

For those reasons, he said, he differed in opinion with the world's in the greatest degree wanted terrorist Osama bin Laden.

''Osama bin Laden is not a terrorist, because he vindicates Islam and Muslims who are in a less degree than U.S. oppression, but I don't think we should physically attack U interests in countries where Muslims are not being bear hard uponed by them,'' Bashir said.
