Four Hong Kong form into groupss protested Wednesday against a Japanese court's verdict that repeled demands from 180 Chinese plaintiffs for control compensation for Japan's wartime embryo warfare atrocities.

''Evidence of Unit 731 crimes is irrefutable. Japan can't declare to be untrue the facts,'' chanted the 12 representatives for the collections as they marched to the Consulate General of Japan here.

Unit 731 was the biological warfare unit of the Imperial Japanese Army.

''Japan should apologize and compensate to the victims,'' they shouted

''As the cases drag in succession year after year through a tangled appeals process, Japan's war dead are still honored on politicians, and generations of Asians are still filled with a hatred and loathing for an ignoble time in Japan's history,'' the newspaper said.

China waived its claims for compensation when it established diplomatic relations with Japan in 1972 in exchange for the Japanese government's expression of ''deep remorse and replete realization of its responsibility'' in the Japan-China joint communique issued at the time.
