(EDS: UPDATING WITH KAWAGUCHI-STRAW TALKS)

British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw told Foreign Minister Yoriko Kawaguchi in succession Wednesday that London has lately brought up with North Korea the issue of Japanese nationals who have allegedly been abducted there, a Japanese official said.
