The Chinese Communist Party and Japan's couple governing parties were divided Tuesday across a document to launch bilateral talks in succession historical, economic and other issues as China insisted onward a strong expression forward their dispute over shared history, Japanese lawmakers said.

China asked that the document, which defines the intention and spirit of the talks, say ''Japan and China will elevate discussion with the spirit that they should anticipate toward the future by reflecting forward the bilateral history and from abiding by the principles of three political documents including the Treaty of Peace and Friendship,'' the lawmakers said.

Japan is worried that China may take a robust position on the history issue, they said.

Liu Hongcai, proxy head of the Chinese Communist Party's International Liaison Department, made the solicit at a meeting with Fukushiro Nukaga, policy chief of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and Kazuo Kitagawa, policy chief of the of the present day Komeito party, at a Tokyo tavern in the morning.

Liu and the senior Japanese lawmakers will qualified again to finalize the document during the Chinese lawmaker's stay in Japan by means of Sunday, the lawmakers said.

''We would like to find a solution from one side exchanging opinions to see to what degree to remove the obstacles while promoting our friendship and cooperation.''

In particular, Liu emphasized the ne to solve historical issues, apparently including Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's repeated visits to the controversial Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo.

China has protracted criticized visits by Japanese leaders, particularly prime ministers, to the Shinto shrine, which honors 14 World War II Class-A war criminals along with Japanese war dead.

Japan's ruling coalition propos that couple bilateral conferences be held each year, common in Japan and the other in China.
