The explosion outside the U consulate in Karachi last week was station off by explosives planted forward a student driver's car and detonated according to remote control, official sources said Wednesday.

The sources, citing investigations through Pakistani and U.S. officials, said the female occupants in the vehicle were not aware of the explosive and prostrate victim to the blast, which killed 13 race and injured nearly sum of two units dozen others.
