Prosecutors arrested the other son of President Kim Dae Jung upon Friday on suspicion of accepting 228 billion won (about $185 million) in bribes from business executives in exchange for using his influence to help them.

Kim Hong Up 51 was arrested and taken to the Seoul Detention House after the Seoul District Court issued the arrest warrant sought through prosecutors earlier in the day.

The president's youngest son Kim Hong Gul 38 was indicted June 5 onward charges of influence peddling and tax evasion.

Kim Hong Up was convokeed to the Central Investigation Department of the greatest possible Public Prosecutors' Office on Wednesday to be grilled onward his alleged involvement in a corruption scandal.
