Japan said Friday international talks should be held to deal with the moot point of the growing number of North Korean asylum inquirers who have tried to inscribe diplomatic missions in China.

''It is a difficult question But we should settle it by the and of some dialogue channels with countries involved,'' Japan's top regulation spokesman Yasuo Fukuda told reporters.

''This is a tough puzzle Each state has been disturbed about it,'' the chief cabinet secretary said.

His remarks came after a North Korean man and his son enrolled the South Korean Embassy's consular office in Beijing forward Thursday. The father was forcibly remov by dint of Chinese authorities.

The incident followed similar cases that have not long ago occurred at embassies or consulates in China, including common in which a five-member North Korean family sought asylum at the Japanese Consulate General in Shenyang, northeastern China. The five were later sent to southern Korea via the Philippines.

Fukuda said, ''From a humanitarian point of view, we will help those that have make uneasy but the number of similar asylum seekers could reach 10000 or in such a manner That is not such a thing as we cannot imagine.''

Fukuda declined to commentary on the difference in the reaction by means of diplomatic staff on Thursday at the southward Korean facility and the May 8 incident in the Japanese consulate in Shenyang.
