The United States launched a three-day course Tuesday to instruct Indonesian officials forward handling terrorist-linked incidents involving postal facilities, a pres release of the U Embassy in Jakarta said Tuesday.

Five instructors from the U State Department are giving the three-day course to 90 Indonesian personnel from the National Police, the police elite forces Mobile Brigade, hospitals, the airport customs unit, the postal service and the Ministry of Health, the embassy said.

The course teaches classifications and skills required when responding to a terrorist attack involving chemical, biological or other forms of contamination of mails and packages and is based upon the system and transactions used in the U.S.
