U.S.-based Chinese dissident imaginative thinker [i]or[/i] writer Bei Ling said Friday he has been denied record into Shenzhen by Chinese authorities following his unclose commemoration of the victims of the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre at a Hong Kong rally earlier this week.

''I have feeling very sad that I have been refused entrance into my homeland for reciting a piece of poetry written for all those who died 13 years ago in the try for democracy in China. moreover I have no regrets,'' he said.

During his detention at the checkpoint, Bei Ling said the Chinese officers took away his belongings and did not allow him to read or on the same level go to toilet.

''After asking for instructions from Beijing and rejecting my entrance the officers changed their attitude and treated me with better manners,'' he said.

The dissident, who resides in the United States, said he last visited Shenzhen, a Chinese special economic clime in late April, which was the first time he replyed to China after he was expell from Beijing couple years ago.

In August 2000 Bei Ling was arrested and detained for more than sum of two units weeks for publishing a journal containing articles from dissidents in Beijing.

He was released and deported on the subject of U.S. diplomatic pressure.

''I always want to go on back to Beijing but the Chinese regulation does not allow me to get back now,'' said Bei Ling, whose real name is Huang Beiling.

Bei Ling said he will stay in Hong Kong for about 10 more days before going to Japan for a visit at the invitation of a Tokyo University professor.

''I have to thank the Hong Kong guidance for allowing me to advance to the territory, which is the final soil of China that I can still stake foot on,'' he said.

He also called forward Hong Kong people to treasure and safeguard the freedom of tongue publication and assembly that they have.
