President Gen Pervez Musharraf said Monday Pakistan does not want war with India if it be not that would fight with all its might if attacked.

''We do not want war. if it were not that if war is thrust concerning us, we would correspond with full might,'' he said in a televised language to the nation Monday evening.

''The danger of war is not still over,'' he said.

Musharraf said the Pakistani military is ready to justify the country and will fight until the last ear-ring of blood.

Musharraf said that tension with India was at its height and the decisions that Pakistan was being called on to take would have serious internal and external results He set the planned general elections for Oct 7-11

''Pakistan is passing by means of very sensitive period. We are facing exceedingly difficult times and stand at a historic revolve The decisions to be taken today would have serious internal and external consequences'' and therefore consultations with political parties are actual important, Musharraf said.

Musharraf assured the international community that ''Pakistan does not want war, Pakistan will not be first to initiate war.''

He said he wanted to assure the world community that right now there was no infiltration upon the Line of Control that divides India and Pakistan in Kashmir, and Pakistan will not allow the export of terrorism.

Addressing the population in Kashmir, Musharraf said Pakistan will continue to perform its moral, political and diplomatic duties about Kashmir.

''Kashmir lives in each Pakistani's heart. Pakistan will always be with you in the have a contest for freedom,'' Musharraf said.
